SYF competition is TOMMOROW 16 April!!!>

AHHHHHHHH!!!! SYF competition is just tommorow! I am so nervous in what prize we will get! I hope that I could get GOLD with my group of friends!!! But there is a good news that I do not need to go to school as it is going to take up the whole day at the competition studio! It is held at NUS. There are thousands of chairs over there. There is going to be so many people watching us performing! The place is so big that my mother has to sit at the third or second level! So many people would come and watch us!!! My parents would not need to pay money as they are the parents of us!! I am so scared that SYF is just tommorow!!!!

International Friendship Day>

Last Friday was International Friendship Day. I celebrated International Friendship Day in my school,Anderson Primary School. All the school pupils gathered in the hall for emsembly. First when we reached school, we had our slient reading and floowed by the pledge and school song. Later on we had some pupils from diffrent classes and races. They all went on stage holding a flag. Each flag has two pupils holding it. When all those pupils who was holding the flag has gone on stage, the singapore flag was right in front. We sang our national athem and then we sat down. We were sent back to our classes by our teachers. Now I am going to ask you seven questions.

1. What do you mean by 'friendship'?
2. Why do you think it is important to have friends?
3. How can you develop friendship with others?
4. Do you think it is important for Singaporeans to be friendly with people of other countries? Why?
5. Did you enjoy the activities during our school International Friendship Day?
6. Which activities did you enjoy? Why?
7. What other activities can you suggest to be included in the International Friendship Day celebration next year?

Friendship is a person who is your friend and like the way you are, helps you in your work if you need help and forgives your mistake everytime you do something wrong. It is also important to have friends because if you do not have friends, you would be very lonely, if you do not know your work you have no one to teach you your homework. Only your parents and teachers. You can be friends with other people when you ask them and treat them nicely. They would be your friends.I think all people could be friends with other races because you could learn the way they talk and how they eat. Sometimes you could try their way an their kinds of food. My favourite activiti was silent reading because I love to read. everyday when I reach home, I took out a thick book and read the whole book. I would need teo hours to finich the thick book.Next year for the International Friendship Day in our school, I want that day to have games and for our recess, I want it to be one and a half hour. On that day we do not need to study. We could eat Mcdolnald and hve fun during the International Friendship Day I want the school to have two day holidays. I also want the International Friendship Day to be on Wednesday. I want to have no homework so that I could read all day and go down and play with my friends living in the same condominium as me. We could go swimming and playground. I love Internatinal Friendship Day!!

The magic butterfly>

Once upon a time there lived a pretty,gentle magic butterfly. She loved to flutter around. She would disappear quickly when an enemy tried to catch her. She loved to live in her home called Butterfly Moutain.Butterfly Moutain was full of flowers like the sunflowers,roses,lavender and many other lovely flowers!

One day a family came to Butterfly Moutain. There was a little girl in the family. She picked many flowers herself! The magic butterfly and her friends died because there was not enough nector for all of them.

The little girl was very sad and misarable. She learned her lesson! She promised that the next time when she went to Butterfly Moutain, she would not pick any flowers without permission.
