Last Friday was International Friendship Day. I celebrated International Friendship Day in my school,Anderson Primary School. All the school pupils gathered in the hall for emsembly. First when we reached school, we had our slient reading and floowed by the pledge and school song. Later on we had some pupils from diffrent classes and races. They all went on stage holding a flag. Each flag has two pupils holding it. When all those pupils who was holding the flag has gone on stage, the singapore flag was right in front. We sang our national athem and then we sat down. We were sent back to our classes by our teachers. Now I am going to ask you seven questions.

4. Do you think it is important for Singaporeans to be friendly with people of other countries? Why?
5. Did you enjoy the activities during our school International Friendship Day?

7. What other activities can you suggest to be included in the International Friendship Day celebration next year?
Friendship is a person who is your friend and like the way you are, helps you in your work if you need help and forgives your mistake everytime you do something wrong. It is also important to have friends because if you do not have friends, you would be very lonely, if you do not know your work you have no one to teach you your homework. Only your parents and teachers. You can be friends with other people when you ask them and treat them nicely. They would be your friends.I think all people could be friends with other races because you could learn the way they talk and how they eat. Sometimes you could try their way an their kinds of food. My favourite activiti was silent reading because I love to read. everyday when I reach home, I took out a thick book and read the whole book. I would need teo hours to finich the thick book.Next year for the International Friendship Day in our school, I want that day to have games and for our recess, I want it to be one and a half hour. On that day we do not need to study. We could eat Mcdolnald and hve fun during the International Friendship Day I want the school to have two day holidays. I also want the International Friendship Day to be on Wednesday. I want to have no homework so that I could read all day and go down and play with my friends living in the same condominium as me. We could go swimming and playground. I love Internatinal Friendship Day!!
